Application Field

It is suitable for non-stop water and pressure detection of municipal water supply pipelines, thermal pipelines (maintenance period), and water conservancy and water distribution pipelines. It is mainly used to detect leaks, foreign objects in the pipes, etc. By the end of 2024, it will have been used in the inspection of approximately 1,000km of water supply pipelines. The detection objects are not limited by the type of pipe, and can be applied to ductile iron pipes, steel pipes, plastic pipes, concrete pipes, etc.

Application scenarios

Accurate leak detection: Accurate detection of small leak points, with higher leak detection accuracy than ground listening, gas tracer, correlation instrument and other technologies.

In-pipe exploration: Exploring conditions such as valve blockage and poor water quality that may be caused by the accumulation of foreign matter in the pipeline.

Routing reconstruction: applied to pipeline routing reconstruction operations due to lack of pipeline routing information due to age.

Restoration survey: Provide non-stop water and pressure in-line inspection and survey results for trenchless restoration decision-making and design.

Technical principles

High-sensitivity hydrophones and high-definition camera units are used to detect various abnormal conditions such as small leaks, damage, nodules, air pockets, and impurity accumulation, and precise positioning of abnormal points is achieved through the ground beacon system. Can also be used for pipeline route reconstruction jobs.

During detection, close the gate valve under the exhaust valve. After disassembling the exhaust valve, install the transceiver. Put the Diting detection robot into the transceiver, open the gate valve and push the robot into the pipeline. The robot moves along with the flow of water. In order to facilitate recycling, the Diting 60 product has an automatic umbrella retracting function. When the equipment is recycled, part of the parachute rope can be unlocked, which significantly reduces the water resistance and improves the recycling efficiency.
